Maribeth Babineaux
Staff attorney
Maribeth leads the clinic’s protective order work, and plans every hearing around getting her client in and out of the courthouse safely.
Maribeth spent several years as a court advocate before law school, sitting beside people asking for protective orders. She went to law school so she could stand up and speak for them.
She answers texts from clients who can’t safely call, and she’ll always ask first whether it’s safe to leave a message.
